Level 1 - Pre-Reading Level

Appropriate for children working on pre-reading skills. Skills Covered:letter identification, sound/symbol association, rhyming words, etc. Once all pre-reading skills are acquired, formal reading instruction will begin.

 

Level 2 - Beginning Reader Level

Appropriate for children who are showing an interest in reading. This level is geared toward children who can identify most upper and lowercase letters, can produce their corresponding sounds, and are able to rhyme. Skills Covered: word families-short and long vowels, decoding skills, sight words, and handwriting.
